City to encourage, certify green projects

 

The next phase of Phoenix's Green Building program is set to take off, making it easier for businesses and homeowners to get their projects certified as environmentally sustainable.

On July 1, Phoenix will launch a new construction code that allows developers and homeowners to earn green certifications through the city.

Fountain Hills Residential Solar

The Town of Fountain Hills is a master planned community established in 1970 by McCulloch Properties (now MCO Properties, Inc.). Prior to 1970 the area was a cattle ranch and was part of one of the largest land and cattle holdings in Arizona.
